People ask me if I still take pictures. I do, actually, but not for myself. Since s of my work pays the bills, I am currently doing a lot of commercial stuff. I like it, but I miss the good old days.

Since October I'm studying Anthropology, and, what I love most about it is the way it has to do with documentary photography.

My long term project, my kids, are a full time job these days, but they'll be in school by the time I turn 30, and I am looking forward to it :)

Today I exhibited photos for the first time ever. It's a campaign that promotes breastfeeding for Unicef Romania. I'm really proud :)

In other words...
I'm still working on my website, hope to see it up and running soon. I will probably post the project there!

It's about a recently divorced Turkish pop singer, Bora Duran.

Circumcision

Male circumcision is the removal of some or all of the foreskin from the penis. According to the World Health Organization, global estimates suggest that 30% of males are circumcised, of whom 68% are Muslim.

In Turkey, circumcision is an important ritual, performed by a medical technician and a Muslim priest on stage, with the boy's family as witnesses. It's considered the moment when boys become men.

The party continues at home, were family and friends congratulate the child.

Ana avea dureri de spate. Initial medicul i-a spus ca a stat in curent, apoi a trimis-o la fizioterapie. Pana la urma cineva si-a dat seama care era sursa durerii. Nu era de la curent. Era cancer. O forma avansata si agresiva care in scurt timp a imobilizat-o la pat si i-a paralizat bratul stang.
Ana e din acelasi oras cu mine. Invata la acelasi liceu unde am absolvit si eu. As vrea sa o ajutam la anul sa isi sarbatoreasca majoratul. Nu pe pat si dependenta de calmante, ci printre colegi, parinti si prieteni.

Am publicat un nou caz pe Stelutele de mare.
Este voba despre David, a carui poveste se afla aici. Pe David l-am cunoscut la Fundeni. Ca sa nu merg nepregatita la prima intalnire, l-am luat cu mine si pe Marcellino.

Albert m-a impresionat tare mult. E vesel, istet si optimist.
Din pacate boala de care sufera a fost depistata foarte tarziu, Albert nu a avut niciun simptom si nimeni nu a crezut ca este bolnav pana cand situatia a devenit critica.
